The whole of Hometown lives one story together. A new chapter of the Sabi Road saga lands every morning, and what players choose and do decides what happens next.
Open the 🗞️ Chronicle app (first on your phone) or tap the paper card that appears once a day. The top gives the story in two sentences; tap Read the full story for the whole chapter. Townspeople also gossip about it as you walk past.
Each chapter ends with a choice for the whole town. Pick a side, then back it with what you do that day: each side lists the deeds that count for it, like deliveries, contracts, repairs or sharing the game. Votes count, but deeds count more.
At 5am each morning the day closes. Each vote is worth 10 points, and each side's deeds are measured against a normal day, so a side wins by making its deeds surge, not just by having more common actions. The next chapter follows the winning side.
Yes. Real players appear: new Governors, the busiest hustlers, party hosts and newcomers who just joined. Anyone who appears becomes part of the cast and can come back in later chapters. You get a notification when you are in the paper. Set your name in Make it yours, because players called 'User 1234' cannot be featured.
