A virtual show-home in Lagos for estate developers

Hometown players already buy land, build houses and furnish them room by room in a Lagos they can walk around in. A developer show-home puts your real house type in front of them, with a button to ask about the real one.

Why a game is a good place to show a house

Selling property in Lagos is about trust and imagination. Buyers want to picture themselves living in the house before they visit the site. Photos and renders help, but they are passive: the buyer looks and scrolls on. A show-home inside Hometown is something the player walks through, at their own pace, on their own phone.

Hometown is already a game about property. Players save up, buy plots, build duplexes, add fences and gates and decorate every room. Many of them are thinking about a real house of their own. A show-home in the game meets that ambition at the right moment.

How the show-home works

We build your house type in the game, based on your plans and photos: the layout, the rooms and the look of the compound. It is placed on a plot in Hometown's Lagos, with a sign that names your estate. Players can walk in and tour it room by room.

Inside, a short card explains the real estate: the area, the price range, the payment plan and what makes it different. A button lets the player ask for details. Their request goes to your sales team as a lead with the contact they choose to share.

  • A sign with your estate name on the plot
  • A short card with location, price range and payment plan
  • An “Ask about the real one” button that sends you leads

Pricing: monthly fee plus a fee per lead

Developer show-homes are priced as a monthly fee for the placement, plus a fee for each lead. That way most of what you pay is tied to people who actually asked about your property. We agree the exact fee with each developer based on the size of the house and the number of states.

Like every Hometown placement, you can start with a free two-week pilot to see how many players tour the house and how many ask for details before you pay anything.

What you will see in your dashboard

Your private results dashboard counts players who toured the show-home, players who saw your billboard if you add one, taps on “Visit website” and “Call us”, and leads sent to your team. Every number is counted once per player per day, so it reflects real interest rather than repeat visits.

Because the dashboard is behind a secret link, you can share it with your partners or investors without giving them access to anything else.

Who this suits

Show-homes suit developers selling to young professionals and first-time buyers in and around Lagos: off-plan apartments, terraces, semi-detached duplexes and serviced estates on the Lekki, Ajah, Ikorodu and mainland corridors. They also suit land sellers who want to show what a finished house on their estate could look like.

We do not show listings we cannot verify. Your estate needs a real address, real documents and a real sales contact before it goes live.

Turning tours into site visits

A tour in the game is the start of a conversation, not the end of one. The developers who get the most from a show-home answer leads quickly, ideally the same day on WhatsApp, and offer a clear next step: a site inspection date, a call with a sales adviser or a brochure with the payment plan. Players who toured the house already know the layout, so the first real conversation can skip the basics and go straight to price, title and timing.

It also helps to be honest about what the game shows. The show-home is your house type in Hometown's style, so the card inside should say what the real finishes, plot size and documents are. Buyers trust developers who are straight with them, and that trust is what turns a lead into a deposit.
